Awarded Prestigious Industry Certification

Scottsbluff, NE – Accelerated Receivables Solutions has been awarded the

Professional Practices Management System™ (PPMS™) certification, from the

Association of Credit & Collections Professionals (ACA).

ARS is the first agency in Western Nebraska, and the 46th corporation

in the world to receive this prestigious certification.

PPMS is a management system designed for collection agencies,

which is similar to an ISO9000 review.  The system is based upon developing,

implementing and adhering to a set of industry-specific professional practices and policies.  

The designation is granted by the industry trade association,

ACA International, The Association of Credit & Collection Professionals (ACA),

an international organization for businesses and individuals involved in the credit and collections industry. 

ACA International represents approximately 5,500 member companies, including 3,400 collection agencies.

There are eighteen specific elements which provide the foundation for ACA’s PPMS Program. 

These elements establish the basis for operation of a successful collection agency. 

Specific emphasis is placed on an agency’s ability to document and audit its business practices,

processes and procedures, while consistently adhering to ACA’s Professional Code of Ethics.

PPMS processes at certified agencies reduce errors, increase communication among internal departments,

incorporate better training and development of collections staff,

and provide the basis for efficient and professional handling of client issues.

Numerous steps must be taken before certification can be achieved by a collection agency. 

A comprehensive application process, extensive documentation, internal audits,

third party audits, and various training must all be accomplished before an agency can even be considered.   

PPMS certification further ensures that ARS will continue to provide quality results, with minimal risks.

There are countless collection agencies, conducting business all over the world. 

However, only very few of those agencies have committed their companies to the

high standards and discipline required by the PPMS certification process.
